Me? A Bookworm?

Definitely not!

I just don't know why... maybe because I never appreciated reading books. I am not in the habit of reading books. I never read books(NEVER READING BOOKS? An exaggeration...obviously! haha) I mean, I never read books just to keep myself busy. I absolutely never read books during my leisure time. I just read books if I am obliged to do so. Particularly during examinations and quizzes when books are very much needed. :D

Since the day I was born, I never ever had the interest of reading books! Personally, it's just dreary! It is just wasting my time. I'd rather clean than read. I'd rather play than read. I'd rather sleep than read. In short, I would do anything to content myself but then again, books are a big NO-NO. That's how I dislike reading books.

During my 4th year days, a lot of my classmates read books during our free time. They were too busy reading books. But one day, due to my curiosity of why people enjoy reading books and due to the influence of some of my classmates, I caught myself reading a book! I can't imagine! Impossible, isn't it?! Me, reading a book? It was a miracle! I really can't forget the title as well as the author of the book in the view of the fact that it was the first pocket book that I read. The title of the book was "For One More Day" and t'was written by Mitch Albom. It took me a long time to finish it because I was too lazy to read. After reading the book, I found out that it was fun reading, but, there's no place for sluggishness. Give your interest in reading and eventually, you'll surely love it!

After that, I borrowed again a pocketbook from my one of my friends entitled "Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom. But unfortunately, I neither finished not started reading the book.

Hopefully, I can already start reading the book and finish it as early as possible. Do you know why? Because I borrowed it a long time ago and a lot of people would like to borrow it after I finish reading it(peace yow):D

So, I therefore conclude that I am certainly NOT a booklover!

=))

  2. Yeah, I felt the same way too when I started to read my first pocket book. It seems I was possessed by a bookworm! :D

You just need motivation and interest to finish the book. Try to finish "Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom - it's a must-read!

  4. i am one of the witness regarding your bad interest to books :) since high school it will take you years before turning one page to another one (literally years)...hehe:)

when you finished 'for one more day', i was really amazed, 'clariz, is that you?!,,' hehe
even i'm amazed by that accomplishment, i felt that you only read the story but didn't understand it...because you kept on questioning about how did the story go even after you read it..peace :) so, better understand it!

  9. Very spontaneous writing. :)

Mitch Albom books are really nice. I've read The Five People You Meet in Heaven and Tuesdays with Morrie. Really interesting.

Taking a long time to read and entire book is not a problem for now. Give yourself time. :) Later on, you'll speed up. Mitch Albom books are not hard to read (they're short and easy to understand). So you have a very good choice there. :)

    Just keep on keeping on!
